Papandreou proposes Turkey to decrease military spendings

ATHENS (AA) – Visitin Dedeagac for his election campaign, Greek Foreign Minister George Papadreou offered Ankara to sign an agreement on decreasing the military spendings following March 7 elections.

In his speech in Dedeagac in Western Thrace, Papandreou stated that such an agreement could be signed followin March 7 elections in Greece.

He added that if such an agreement would be reached then both countries could have chance to transfer their resources to a social development.
