A massive explosion in Turkish gas station
Health Minister Recep Akdag said 110 people had been hurt and that no one had been killed.
A massive fireball engulfed the station with flames spreading to nearby buildings in the working-class neighbourhood.
Police evacuated the area and roads in the area were closed to traffic.
Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan arrived at the scene with other government ministers as firefighters continued to battle the flames.
One eyewitness said there were at least two explosions after the initial blast.
