US: If Turkey attempts a resolution may be found
Bush’s National Security adviser says t hat if Turkey decides to send troops to Iraq, it can find a way for it and Ankara can contribute peace and stability in the country
ANKARA (AA) – US President George W. Bush’s National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice said yesterday that the US noted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari’s statement saying that he was against Turkish military presence in northern Iraq.
On the issue, she says that a resolution which would consider all side’s interests could be found and if Turkey would like to attend to peacekeeping forces, its way could be found.
