Türkiye Tourism hosts screening of Tiger 3 for Indian travel trade – TravelBiz Monitor: India travel news, travel trends, tourism


Türkiye Tourism Promotion & Development Agency, in collaboration with Türkiye Culture & Tourism Office in New Delhi, recently hosted exclusive screenings of the Hindi film, Tiger 3. Shot in locations of Istanbul, Antalya and Cappadocia, the film showcases Turkiye’s grandeur on the global stage. The events hosted at PVR Director’s Cut in Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj in Delhi, and at PVR BKC in Mumbai were collectively attended by over 130 guests and notable personalities from both cities.

The screening events drew the presence of prominent travel agents and leading travel and lifestyle influencers. Some of the guests in attendance were Cuneyt Yavuzcan, Consulate General of Turkiye in Mumbai, and Turkiye’s Ambassador to India, H.E. Firat Sunel in Delhi. Post the screenings, the viewing parties were treated with insightful presentations on Turkiye’s rich cultural history, tourism delights, and growing popularity among Indians, followed by a cocktail.

Speaking on the successful film screenings, the Turkiye Tourism Authority, said, “We express a heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed guests for gracing this extraordinary celebration of Turkiye, showcased through the lens of Tiger 3. The exceptional response witnessed at these events towards our nation is a true reflection of the strong ties between India and Türkiye. The triumph of these events is also a reminder of the power of cultural exchange in fostering understanding and unity between our two countries. We look forward to continued collaborations that will further deepen the connection between the vibrance of Indian cinema and the enchanting landscapes of Türkiye.”

In the past, films like Race 2, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Ek Tha Tiger were shot in Turkiye.
