Turkish Süper Lig leaders Trabzonspor plan NFT drop to celebrate title – Inside World Football

April 29 – Trabzonspor, who need just two points from four games to be crowned Turkey’s Süper Lig champions, will celebrate with the launch of their first set of NFTs.

The NFT drop will include the ‘Trabzonspor Championship Collection’, ‘Historical Collection’ and ‘VIP Auction Collection’.

The Trabzonspor Championship Collection will feature the jerseys of every player in the 2021-22 season squad and will be offered at $61. Full details of the drop are still to be released.

The release will be via the Sportium platform. The South Korean firm also partners with Korea’s K-League for NFTs.

Capital Block advised Trabzonspor on the partnership.

Trabzonspor, from the city of Trabzon on the Black Sea, joined the  Süper Lig in 1974 and became the first club from outside Istanbul to win the first division title.
