‘Turkish Simon Cowell’ completes Hull City takeover – and has huge net worth
The ‘Turkish Simon Cowell’ has bought Championship side Hull City.
Acun Ilicali finally took over the Humberside club after being in talks about a takeover since June, having first visited the club in May.
There had been hopes the takeover would take place before Christmas, but there was a slight delay in the deal.
He has a net worth of $100million (£73million), according to CelebrityNetWorth.
Ilicali was present in Hull for their FA Cup clash with Everton earlier this month.
And he told HullLive after watching the clash: “I wanted to know how it felt to be there, and again I got more than I was expecting, of course.”
