Turkey’s welded tube exports down 13.3% in January-July


In July this year, Turkey’s total welded tube exports declined by 41.4 percent month on month to 115,633 mt and by 14.2 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $122.63 million, down by 38.3 percent month on month and by 30.9 percent from July 2022.

In the January-July period this year, Turkey’s welded tube exports amounted to 1.03 million mt, down 13.3 percent, while the value of these exports moved down by 24.6 percent to $1.06 billion, both compared to the same period of 2022.

In the given period, Turkey’s largest welded tube export destination was Romania which received 161,503 mt. Romania was followed by Morocco with 126,141 mt and the UK with 87,632 mt.
