Turkey’s stock markets close Tuesday’s session higher

(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index ended Tuesday at 2,575.86 points, increasing 1.44 percent from the previous end.

Opening the day at 2,557.11 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 36.66 points from the prior end.

The index’s worst value throughout Tuesday stood at 2,550.77, whereas its daily high reached 2,582.21.

The entire market value of the BIST 100 was nearly 2.07 trillion Turkish liras (USD120.14 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchange volume of 36.1 billion Turkish liras (USD2.08 billion).

Throughout the day, 80 shares on the index increased, 18 dropped, and two were unaffected against the prior end.

The rate of an ounce of gold stood at USD1,840.65, whereas Brent crude oil traded at nearly USD115.08 a barrel as of 6.23 PM regional time (1523GMT).
