Turkey’s P.M. Orders Action Into Anti-Turkish Films

Speaking at the AKP meeting party deputies voiced their disappointment and complained about a number of TV series that show Turkey as a radical Islamic country linked to Al Qaeda, where women are beheaded.

Deputy Ayse Bohurler recalled that the film Midnight Express, which showed Turkey as a country torturing people, was still widely available. Premier Erdogan said that the producers of this film had already apologized and promised not to air it any more. "They apologize on one hand but have continued to show them."
