Turkey’s HRC exports down 35.8 percent in January-June


In June this year, Turkey’s total hot rolled coil (HRC) exports rose by 5.5 percent compared to May and declined by 46.6 percent year on year to 87,464 mt, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $68.67 million, up by 8.6 percent month on month and down by 58.5 percent compared to the same month of 2022.

In the January-June period of this year, Turkey’s HRC exports amounted to 495,460 mt, down 35.8 percent, while the value of these exports dropped by 50.1 percent to $371.48 million, both compared to the same period of 2022.
