Turkey’s BIST 100 index opens week standing at 5,013.16 poin…


(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index started standing at 5,013.16 points on Monday, surging by 0.57 percent, or 28.3 points, from the prior end.

Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index was increased by 0.28 percent to end the last week standing at 4,984.86, with a day to day exchange capacity of 89.15 billion Turkish liras (USD4.74 billion).

The US dollar/Turkish lira selling price stood at 18.7889 as of 10.40 AM regional time (0740GMT), the euro/lira trading price stood at 20.3665, whereas a British pound exchanged for 22.9890 Turkish liras.

Global benchmark Brent crude exchanged at USD84.64 a barrel as of 10.26 AM regional time (0726 GMT), a 0.75 percent decline from the ending price of USD85.28 per barrel in the prior exchange session.

The American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) sold at USD79.31 a barrel at the same time, a 0.99 percent decrease following the prior session ended standing at USD80.11 per barrel.
