Turkey: Türkiye Design Vision 2030 Workshop held

The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office held a workshop in cooperation with World Design Organization (WDO) between March 30-31 – April 1, 2023, with respect to policies and strategies regarding designs in Turkey.

The Turkey Design Vision 2030 Workshop was participated by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR, President of Turkish Patent and Trademark Authority (TÜRKPATENT) Cemil BAŞPINAR, Informatics Valley General Manager Ahmet Serdar İBRAHİMCİOĞLU, World Design Organization (WDO) President David KUSUMA.

In the workshop, the topics titled “Turkey’s Design Strategy in the Framework of Global Design Trends” and “Design for Unforeseen Conditions” were discussed in detail. The membership of Bilişim Vadisi to WDO was also announced.

Designer Sadık KARAMUSTAFA was awarded the “Turkish Design Advisory Council Honor Award”.
