Turkey opens tender for privatizing their highways

The prequalification is open on 12 September and the deadline for bids will end on December 15, according to the Turkish government. The announcement coincides with the visit of Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, which begins tomorrow in Ankara will be held the third high-level meeting between the two countries.

New awards after this first competition, the Turkish government is planning to build another 12 highways with a value of 35,800 million euros until 2023 and a third bridge over the Bosphorus.
