Turkey Could Send 10,000 Troops to ‘Sunni Triangle’

The Wall Street Journal stated that they were surprised by the Foreign Minister’s statement. It was noted that the region where Turkish troops would be sent, known as the ‘Sunni triangle’, is the scene of stiff resistance to occupation forces. The paper acknowledged that Turkey would be contributing greatly to the security of Iraq if it were to send troops.
