Turkey and Greece to be linked by pipeline

The $265 million pipeline, scheduled for completion in 2005, will run from Karacabey in the west of Turkey, extending the existing pipeline network to the north eastern Greek city of Komontini. In total, the pipeline will run for 270 kms, 180 of which will be inside Turkey.
