Turkey: 11 arrested as anti-war activists protest in Adana
Police warned them to disperse peacefully. The protest degenerated into violence after a verbal quarrel
erupted between police and anti-war activists. The group hurled stones and sticks against police. A high-ranking police official was injured on his shoulder in the turmoil. When the tension reached its peak, some activists were dragged into police vehicles and some managed to escape to the back streets of the city as throwing stones.
