Turk linked to Iraq hostage killing

Yuce’s execution was shown on internet sites linked to radical Islamist groups on Monday. During the net broadcast, one of the three masked gunmen standing behind the hostage spoke in Turkish. It has been claimed that the Turkish speaking militant was Habip Aktas, one of the suspects wanted in connection with four suicide bombings in Istanbul last November.
In the internet film footage of the killing a Turkish voice is overheard giving orders and confirming the death of Yuce.
There were some suggestions made in CDs sent to media groups that Aktas was fighting in Iraq and that Azat Ekinci, another militant connected to the Istanbul bombings, which left more than 60 dead, was also involved in an attack against the Bakubada police station in Iraq last month.
