Retired Generals Back TRNC Government for Elections

Lefkosa (Nicosia), Ankara, CYPRUS, TURKEY, December 11, 2003 – Propaganda ahead of the December 14 elections by the government and opposition is in full swing. Retired Turkish generals have gone to Cyprus for a drive to promote the government by holding meetings at cafés.
