Istanbul’s Bursa in Turkey ends on high note

(MENAFN) The benchmark stock index for Turkey reached 2,539.20 points on Monday, an increase of 0.23 percent from Friday’s close.

The BIST 100 index of Bursa Istanbul opened the week at 2,539.20 points, up 5.87 points from the prior ending.

The index reached a daily high of 2,555.10 points as well as a daily low of 2,511.34 points.

By market closure, the BIST 100 had an overall market value of about 2.07 trillion Turkish liras (USD120.14 billion), and its daily exchanging volume was 38.6 billion liras (USD2.23 billion).

54 stocks in the index increased throughout the day, 42 decreased, and four remained unchanged from the prior end.
