Israel army says it killed suspected bomber ‘coming from Lebanon’

Statement by army says man killed on Monday was believed to had crossed into Israel from Lebanon.

The Israeli army has announced it killed on Monday a suspect behind a blast at a junction in northern Israel.

In a statement on Wednesday, the army said the man was believed to had crossed into northern Israel from Lebanon.

It said it was “examining a possibility” of involvement by Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement. There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah.
