Iraq-Turkey pipeline sabotaged again

According to Iraqi officials, the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline will be out of action for 10 days or more.
The attacks targeted a network of pipelines linking connecting the Khubbaz oil wells with refineries in Baiji and Baghdad, further south, and the main export pipeline running to the northern Turkish terminal of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean, according to General Turhan Yusif, the chief of police in Kirkuk.
One Iraqi oil official quoted by Agence France-Presse said that the attack was one of the most powerful and most serious ever.
