‘Iran Better to be more Frank about Nuclear Program’
Baradei in a statement prior to the IEAE meeting today cited, "We have gradually progressed;" however, he requested the Tehran administration be more open to the IAEA inspectors.
While Iran emphasized that the controversial nuclear program has only peaceful aims, Washington claimed that Iran is secretly working to produce nuclear weapons.
IAEA diplomats have declared that they do not expect any final decisions to be confirmed regarding Iraq at the meeting, where the 35-member committee convenes today, or for any decisions from Tehran to be sent to the United Nations (UN) Security Council.
Europe has offered to develop advantageous commercial trade with Iran in an effort to dissuade them from their nuclear activities; while, the United States (US) tries to persuade Iran to recognize the offer that Europe presents and has threatened to bring the situation to the attention of theUN Security Council.
