Insured losses from Turkey quakes to hit $3.8 billion – Business Insurance


Swiss catastrophe data provider Perils AG has raised its insured and reinsured loss estimates for the earthquakes that struck Turkey in February 2023, by 26% to 117 billion Turkish lira ($3.82 billion), Artemis reported. The updated loss estimate only covers the property line of business and does not include any losses from Syria.
