Holy Birth Week Begins

Among the activities, to be held at the Kocatepe Conference Hall, will be programs with social content, conferences, panels and a symposium about the Holy Prophet.

The topics of discussion will be: ‘Family Life of the Prophet Mohammed, the Prophet Muhammed’s Love of Children, Brotherhood, Love, Respect and Tolerance according to the Prophet.’

This year’s activities were the subject of some controversy when the Turkish Religion Foundation stated that the date for the commemmoration week could be changed. The foundation, however, withdrew this statement due to negative reactions.

An ‘Actual Presentation of Islam under the Light of the Prophet’s Notification Method’ symposium will also be held from May 16-18 at the Kocatepe Conference Hall.
