Football Bet of the Day: Stay in Turkey for Goals on Monday
Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me once more travel to Turkey, and I’ve picked out another fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Trabzonspor will look to keep pace with the sides above them in the Turkish Süper Lig table as they travel to the Kırbıyık Holding Stadium to take on mid-table Alanyaspor.
Alanyaspor suffered just their second defeat in their previous eight Süper Lig fixtures, as they were thrashed 4-1 away at 14th-placed Kasımpaşa. Francesco Farioli’s hosts have registered just two clean sheets in the league all season and possess the third-worst defence in the division, conceding 31 goals. However, the Alanya-based club have found the back of the net in seven of their last eight league fixtures, scoring on multiple occasions in five of those.
Trabzonspor bounced back from a 4-1 defeat themselves away at the entertaining Fatih Karagümrük with a comfortable 3-0 success over Giresunspor on Thursday. Abdullah Avcı’s visitors have found the back of the net in 14/16 of their league fixtures this season, including in all eight away from home. However, the Black Sea Storm have shipped 16 goals on their travels this season, with their only two clean sheets away from home coming against the bottom two sides in the Süper Lig table, İstanbulspor and Ümraniyespor.
Bet of the Day
Alanyaspor head into this fixture having found the back of the net in seven of their previous eight league outings, and given Trabzonspor have scored in all eight of their away Süper Lig matches, I expect both of these clubs to get on the scoresheet once more.
Over 2.5 goals has landed in six of Alanyaspor’s previous eight league matches, and given there have been three or more strikes in four of Trabzonspor’s last five on the road, I reckon there is a good chance we’ll see at least another three in Alanya tomorrow evening with both teams contributing.
