First anti-US protest held in Afghanistan since fall of Taliban
"Donkeys would govern the country better instead of US" said Siddiq who was nicknamed as "Afghanistan’s Al Sahhaf". "Noone is afraid of US in Afghanistan. US is a mouse, our only one cat is enough to defeat them. Afghanistan will be the tomb of Britons, Russians and terrorists. Afghanistan is not Iraq. US has to understand this" he added. US troops and pro-government militias regularly come under attack from suspected Taliban remnants and their al-Qaeda allies in the south and east of the country. A US-led coalition of more than 10,000 troops is currently hunting down Taliban and al-Qaeda holdouts.
