CSU: Turkey’s EU membership not beneficial for EU
He stated that Germany wanted a good partnership with Turkey but Germany’s federal government caused dissapointing expectations.
Glos stressed that in the event of Turkey’s EU membership, Turkish citizens would have rights for free movement and 10-15 billion immigrants would come to Germany, so it wouldn’t be neither for use of Turkey nor Berlin.
He went on to say, "I don’t agree that Turkey’s membership will be in benefit of Germany because the EU can’t lay to Caspian Sea."
