Central Bank Halts Devaluation of Dollar

Indicating that parity was a factor in the devaluation of the dollar, market sources said: "The drop in the dollar also stemmed from euro/dollar parity. The dollar is not only being devalued in Turkey; there is also devaluation against other monetary units. If an improvement in parity occurs in the coming days, a small increase in dollar could again be seen."
