“Recently, billboards similar to the image below appear in different regions of Turkey”, — wrote representatives of Binance TR.
A photo of one of the billboards was added to the post: it contains the exchange logo, phones for contacting with the Turkish code, tickers of popular cryptocurrencies and text in Arabic.
The company emphasized that the information on the boards “has nothing to do with Binance.” The trading platform intends to take action against people “who are clearly involved in fraudulent activity.”
The company launched Binance TR in 2020. At that time, CEO Changpeng Zhao called Turkey one of the leading countries in terms of the dynamics of the implementation of blockchain solutions and a key market for the global economy.
In April 2022, the local branch announced the launch of a customer service center.
Recall that in the same month, Coinbase plans to absorb Turkey-based cryptocurrency trading platform BtcTurk became known.
