Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Tukey Tourney, which is scheduled to run from November 7th to 16th. 

According to event organizers, the event showcases a 3 vs. 3 double-elimination half-court basketball tournament designed for adults aged 25 and older.

The Men’s Division tournament will be held on November 7th and 16th on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center.

The Women’s Division tournament will be held on November 11th and 12th at the Odell Weeks Activities Center. 

Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism says each tournament will be followed by free-throw and 3-point shooting competitions, with prizes like trophies and grocery store gift cards. 

The Men’s Division features the Aiken Legends, an adult basketball league for players aged 40 and above. Teams in this division must consist of 4 players. The Women’s Division has two age groups: 25-49 and 50+. Teams in this division cannot exceed 10 players and must meet the age requirements.

Registration costs $20.00 per team and can be done at the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center, Odell Weeks Activities Center, or online at cityofaikensc.recdesk.com under the team captain’s name.

The City of Aiken Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism encourages individuals of all ability levels to join their programs, visit their parks, and use their facilities.
