Zana: Kurd Intellectuals Play for Themselves

Speaking with Kurds living in Paris, Zana said that “Kurd intellectuals were not together with the Kurd people, before or during the war. We were with the people also at Parliament. The minds of Kurd intellectuals are confused. They have not come to Turkey for 330 years but are

Demanding that the Kurd people to wage a war and die. No one has the right to make advice to Kurds.”

Zana, the member of banned Democracy Party, was welcomed as a leader in Paris. She was welcomed at the VIP lounge of Paris Sunday evening and was escorted by motorcycled police teams. She attended, with Dogan, the Board meeting of the Kurd Institute. Then she had breakfast with Socialist Group deputy Segolene Royal at the National Assembly restaurant. She then met Danielle Mitterand and had dinner with the Greens Party members.
