Turkey will soon send a crowded entourage comprising military and political officials to Iraq to carry out preliminary observations. Diplomatic sources say that about ten thousand troops will be sent by Turkey.

Verbal Answer to Written Questionnaire

Turkey plans to have another face-to-face talk with U.S. officials on the issue. A U.S. mission will soon arrive in Ankara to have talks with Foreign Ministry officials. In these talks, the American side will answer orally, the questions posed by Turkey on the details of the deployment, in a written questionnaire.
