‘Violence in Palestine and Iraq Threatens Neighbors’

The meeting began today in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. 14 countries are participating and they will discuss the violence in Iraq and the ‘Israel-Palestine’ issue.

Turkish State Minister Besir Atalay also spoke during the meeting. "The Turkish government expresses its appreciation for the fact that the OIC realized this emergency meeting," Atalay began. He then continued, "We should develop new common positions to overcome the new problems occurring in the Middle East. We must focus on these developments."
