Van Hooijdonk Signs For Fenerbahce

"Pierre van Hooijdonk will definitely leave Feyenoord," Feyenoord confirmed in a statement. "As he had one year left on his Feyenoord contract, the Turkish club has paid a transfer fee."
The controversial former Celtic, Nottingham Forest and Benfica star joined Feyenoord in 2001 and scored over 50 goals in his two seasons at De Kuip.

Van Hooijdonk had been linked with moves to Birmingham and Tottenham, but decided against returning to the Premiership.

His departure comes in the same week as Bonaventure Kalou and Brett Emerton left Feyenoord for Auxerre and Blackburn respectively.
