US troops do not let press members to enter Baghdad

Turkish soldiers were detained Friday on suspicion of planning an attack on a Kurdish governor in the oil-rich northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
The arrests were carried out on the grounds that “certain Turks were planning to commit an attack on the governor of Kirkuk” One of US troops stated that Turkish soliders were transfered to Baghdad but he did not give any details about where they were being held.
