US monitors any movement of PKK/KADEK

The Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu and Wolfowitz meet last night and they took up troop sending issue, beside economic subjects.

After the meeting, Hisarciklioglu stated that Wolfowitz underlined that Turkey and the US had common interests in Iraq and there was no doubt on it. During the meeting, Wolfowitz told Hisarciklioglu that the US would continue to defend Iraq’s territorial integrity, so the maing target to provide Iraq to rule itself.

Wolfowitz added that when Turkish soldiers went to Bosnial, many country including Serbia opposed to it, but now all realized that existence of Turkish forces brought peace and stability to the region. He underlined that this example had to be a message to those Kurdish groups and to their leaders who opposed to Turkish troops.

About PKK/KADEK, Wolfowitz pointed out that any movement of PKK/KADEK monitored with radar and the US would continue its struggle with terrorism.
