US Keen on Incirlik Reinforcement
A high-ranking official said during a Pentagon briefing that no certain decision has been made about deploying additional warplanes in Turkey.
Another official said that Washington passed along information about the new plan, however, no official proposal has been made yet. The same official said that talks will continue, and added that the efforts will be concentrated on finding common grounds for cooperation against threats.
The US plan, while still vague at this point, envisages pulling up to 70,000 US soldiers out of Europe and Asia, while increasing the US military presence in Poland, Romania and Uzbekistan.
