US is still undecided about Turkish troops

Diplomatic sources said that Ankara was ready for negotiations and the US now started to think of whether it did the right or wrong by demanding Turkish troops in Iraq and it couldn’t decide yet on it.

Same sources stated that the US knew that Turkey was going to the region to bring stability but now the US is seeking the answer of question that with coming Turkish troops there could be unstable athmosphere.

They stressed that the US had been considering either Iraqi’s or regional countries’ opinions and statements and speed of proposal that allowing Turkish troops in Iraq also affected Washington.

Meanwhile in the meeting between U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric Edelman and Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal last Tuesday, U.S. side didn’t bring a new proposal to Turkey about the terrorist organisation PKK/KADEK. Sources said that the process started about eradication of the terrorist organisation from the north of Iraq still continued, but that no concrete step was taken yet.
