US and Iran Back Turkey against KADEK

Before taking the initiative regarding the law, Turkey contacted the Iranian authorities with the concern that those committing crimes would flee to Iran. Coming to a joint agreement at the security meetings, the Iranian government decided to intensify its five-month fight against KADEK to the highest level.

In clashes between fleeing militants fearing US troops operation and the Iranian forces, eight Iranian soldiers are believed to have been killed. Ankara, via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Iran for its cooperation. Turkey got a guarantee from the US that it would deal with KADEK. At discussions, Turkey told the US and England, ‘you are the authority over there. That organization is included in your list of the terrorists.’
