US ambassador Flake poses as ‘James Bond’ on Grand Bazaar’s roof – Türkiye News

U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Jeff Flake shared a photo of him on Oct. 25 running on the roof of the Grand Bazaar on his Instagram account, seemingly inspired by the 2012 James Bond movie “Skyfall.”

In the frame photo by Ambassador Flake, it is seen that someone else is running behind him.
”He’s gaining on me. Better shed the jacket,’ he commented to the photo.
In a statement made to daily Hürriyet by the U.S. Embassy, it was stated that “the ambassador took the photograph because of his appreciation for the history of the place.”
The post brought to mind the iconic scene in the 2012 film “Skyfall” of the James Bond series. Bond, played by Daniel Craig in the movie, ran and rode a motorcycle on the roof of the Grand Bazaar.
