U.S. Has to Openly Apologize from Turkey

The failure of high-ranking American officials to take an open and sincere stance towards Prime Minister Erdogan and Foreign Minster Gul on the issue, makes one think that this had been a pre-planned and deliberate action. I regard this action as a continuation of the damaged relations after the permit crisis. This is an indication that U.S. does not want to see any Turkish military presence in Northern Iraq…We are at the beginning of a process that will compel us to pull back all our units in Northern Iraq, which we are maintaning for our border security. ..It is not mere coincidence that the ugly incident in Suleymaniye took place just when Iranian troops started clashing with the PKK-KADEK terrorists and numerous Iranian soldiers were killed. Turkey regards U.S. as its "oldest ally." An alliance that started in Korea and continued in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo. ..No one can say that this incident did not hurt Turkey’s national pride…It is the U.S. Administration to solve this problem. They should openly apologize and notify Turkey that measures to prevent any re-occurence were taken. U.S. thinks that she won the Iraq war . However, war has ended but the Iraqi problem of U.S. just begins. U.S. has to learn that it can not mistreat her oldest ally in such a geography."
