Turkiye’s BIST 100 index up at Tuesday open

Turkiye’s benchmark stock index opened at 2,483.08 points on Tuesday, rising 17.37 points, or 0.70%, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index was up 0.28% to end Monday at 2,465.71 points, with a daily trading volume of 38.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.58 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 15.1729 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT), up from 15.0800 at Monday’s close.
The euro/lira exchange rate increased to 16.0253 from 15.8970, while a British pound traded for 18.7355 liras, down from 18.6030 at the last close.
Brent crude oil was sold for around $105.30 per barrel as of 10 a.m. local time, while the ounce price of gold was at $1,859.09.
