According to the statement from TFF, the preliminary squad consists of 35 players under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella.
On June 7, 9 players will be removed from the preliminary squad, and the 26-player squad will be submitted to UEFA.
The national team will play 2 preparatory matches before the tournament. The national team will face Italy on June 4 and Poland on June 10 in away matches.
Türkiye’s match against Italy will be played at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium, home to Serie A club Bologna FC 1909, and will start at 22:00 Turkish time.
The national team will camp in the town of Opalenica in Poland until the special match against Poland. The team will move from Bologna to Poznan on the evening of June 5, after the match against Italy. On June 9, the team will move to Warsaw, the capital of Poland, where the Poland-Türkiye match will be played.
The Poland-Türkiye match will be played on June 10 at the PGE Narodowy, the largest football stadium in Poland, and will start at 21:45 Turkish time.
The Turkish National Football Team will compete in Group F at EURO 2024.
Türkiye’s group includes the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Portugal.
The Turkish National Team will play its first match in the tournament against Georgia on June 18.
