Turkish Workers to Iraq

In the period between January and September of 2004 when Turkish workers and drivers were under threat 3 thousand 915 people who failed to find jobs in Turkey went to Iraq to work.

In the January-September period, 29.988 people went abroad through the state organization.
The number of Turks going to Iraq to work, increased by 15 % according to the same period of 2003.
