Turkish Rep. of N. Cyprus will not become another Georgia

Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas concluded the polemic on whether TRNC will be another Georgia if the opposition loses in the elections.
He said “TRNC will not turn into Georgia.” In another meeting with Hurriyet columnists, he said “There is the army corps of Turkey here. We shall in no way allow such a thing. In fact, the opposition does not have such a potential.”
Speaking at Channel D Sunday evening, CTP leader Mehmet Ali Talat had said that “If there are irregularities in elections, our people will react. We shall not remain silent.”
