Turkish-Greek Summit 4 Days Before Referendum

Greek government spokesman Teodoros Rusopoulos said Monday he anxiously awaits the Cyprus report that United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Kofi Annan will present to the UN Security Council. Rusopoulos pointed out that Athens would respond positively to any kind of initiative that provides extra guarantees in Cyprus. Rusopoulos also explained that Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would probably meet with each other during the Balkan Summit in Bosnia. The meeting has no predetermined agenda.
