Turkish FM Gul due to Czech Republic

Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday that Gul would meet Svoboda on October 26th. He will also be received by President Vaclav Klaus and Parliament Speaker Lubomir Zaoralek.

Bilateral relations between Turkey and Czech Republic and recent international and regional developments will be high on agenda of Gul’s scheduled meeting with Czech officials.

"During his meetings in Czech Republic, which became a member of the EU on May 1st, 2004, Foreign Minister Gul will explain Turkey’s views about the European Commission’s Progress Report and Turkey’s expectations from the EU Heads of State and Government Summit on December 17th," the Ministry said.

Meanwhile, approval documents of Social Security Agreement, which was signed by the two countries in October of 2003, will be exchanged among the parties.
