Turkish Documentary Wins Emmy Award

Talking about the 95-minute film, Serefli said:

"It was filmed in the U.S., England, Mongolia, Georgia, India, Philippines and Turkey and deals with conditions in the jailhouses in all those countries. The reactions of children are mentioned: the world from their point of view, in which conditions they live, what kind of contribution the state makes and what kind of difficulties they encounter in their adaptation to social life after being released. Conditions all over the world are really very bad. As a result of the research, about basic issues like prison administration and reintegration into society, Turkey was shown as the most liberal country and an example to others."
