Turkish contractors to build 5,000 houses in Morocco

Kayalar made the statement on his return from a visit to Morocco. The preliminary agreement is intended to increase collaboration in the building contractor and consultancy areas to the highest level. "Moroccan officials stated they will provide every kind opportunity and facility to encourage Turkish firms to take part in projects and make investments in the housing and tourism sectors in Morocco," said Kayalar.

Kayalar went on to say: "The construction of 100,000 houses is planned in the framework of this agreement. A building program aimed at accomodating 10 million tourists by 2010 has been initiated in Morocco and the construction of a total of 1,500 kilometers of highway in Morocco by 2010 is also planned to develop the transport infrastructure."
