Turkish Citizenship to Guards

The Palestinian brothers who defended the Turkish Embassy against plunders after the Iraqi war, fulfilled their desire of Turkish citizenship, which they communicated through news agencies. Their appeal for Turkish citizenship was accepted and a monetary award was handed to them. After the process is completed, they will be able to obtain Turkish passports.

The Turkish Embassy was also affected by the looting, which took place in Baghdad in April. However, Palestinian brothers and their friends protected the embassy and one of them was injured by the looters.
